The trials of Punty

"Shortstop Nick Punto (strained back) took full batting practice and ground balls and said he felt good. Punto could get into the lineup in a few days for the first time this spring."

Oh good. We just didn't have a shot without Punty.

"I just want to get on the field and prove I'm not injury-prone," says the energetic Punto. "Everything that's happened is freakish, but I still haven't been on the field."

He may be energetic but he's still Nick Punto.

On the plus side we put four runs on the board against Toronto to snap that pesky 154 game spring training losing streak.

Red Sox tickets for opening day against the Yankees are going for up to 5000 dollars on eBay. And even spring training tickets for games against the Twins are 60 bucks.

Heh

This software IS smart. I don't know if you guys see it but I'm getting a bunch of....things.... for help with procrastination. You read my mind!

I'm looking at March 28th to go see the Twins in Fort Myers. They'll be playing the Reds. Otherwise its all Red Sox (too crowded) and Orioles (ditto with Sammy Sosa there now). I guess maybe Ken Griffey Jr. could be there. And tickets are only sixteen bucks. If I can figure out how to get to Fort Myers I'll be in the money.

Ooooh!

One of the....you knows..... promises "I buy Old Time Baseball". Well either he forgot an 's' or Dad, maybe he wants to buy our copy of that old game! Man, this smart software IS smart!

Hey have your heard about those new corduroy pillows?

They're really making headlines!

Where did Napoleon keep his armies?
In his sleevies.

Did you hear the watermelon joke?
It's pitful.

What did the duck say when she bought some lipstick?
Put it on my bill.

I can't believe I took the time to write these down. Shouldn't I be working on my resume?

Wow!

We rocketed past 5,000 hits sometime yesterday!
In fact, I'm just looking at the numbers and you guys absolutely annihilated all previous records for this site! Awesome! Thank you very much!

Oh, way to go Dad

Well, if you don't consider scouring the internet for two hours cheating, than you got four of five right. There are actually about 300 places to eat at WDW. Yes, there is an abandoned wave maker at the bottom of the lagoon currently serving as a reef for fish. The biggest fountain is in Epcot, Mickey has about 175 costumes including a tuxedo and scuba gear. And the Tip Top Club is supossedly at the top of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

I know you guys will think I am crazy but I am not going to the Crush n Gusher preview. I really need to finish my resume so I can be sending it out by tomorrow. I would have gone Wednesday but it rained all day. So, responsibility and all that.
