Could be worse

Gwen and I have been discussing ways to tighten our belts with soaring gas prices putting the hurt on me and my 100+ miles of driving a day. We aren't in any kind of trouble, so don't worry, we just want to make sure we don't get there.
I filled up at 2.99 last night, and I have a feeling that will be considered cheap pretty soon.
Well, at least 80 percent of my hometown isn't underwater. So I got that.
